The value for the money at Guest House Memushi was exceptional and the rooms were clean and beautifully styled with an Albanian mountain theme. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the Bazaar and away from the noise. The highlight was definitely the wonderful terrace, where we enjoyed delicious meals with a breathtaking view of the entire city. The staff, especially the helpful English-speaking nephew, made us feel like family.
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from having a bit more variety, such as including some salad or tomatoes.

The room had extraordinary views of the entire city and the castle with the clock tower. It was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast provided was very rich and the view from the terrace was equally exceptional. The dinner we had at the hotel was by far the best we've ever had, with amazing quality and quantity. The hosts were very kind, helpful, and discreet. Parking on the street was easy and the location, although a bit steep to reach, was definitely worth it.
100% Recommend this hotel.

This guesthouse is conveniently located in the centre, just a short walk from the charming Old Bazaar and the historical Castle. It is also situated in the old town, close to the famous Zekate house. Guests have mentioned the great view from the rooftop terrace, where they can enjoy stunning sunsets. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with shared bathrooms that are always kept spotless. The hosts provide exceptional service and go out of their way to make guests feel at home. Delicious breakfasts are served and the food is outstanding.
Finding the guesthouse can be a bit challenging by car due to its location in the old town, but with the detailed instructions provided, guests were able to find it easily.

The twin room at Guest House Memushi was absolutely amazing! It had a fantastic lake view that made waking up in the morning so peaceful and beautiful. I also loved having a tea/coffee maker in the room, making it convenient to have a hot beverage whenever I wanted. And the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat. I felt like I was in a cozy and relaxing retreat.
The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of was the dining area in the room. It felt a bit cramped and I would have preferred a separate space for dining.

During my recent transit in Gjirokaster, I had the opportunity to stay at Guest House Memushi. Although my stay was brief, I found two features of this guest house to be particularly noteworthy. the provided database indicated that the guest house is conveniently located only 84 km away from the nearest airport. This made my travel experience much smoother and efficient, as I didn't have to endure a long journey to reach my temporary accommodation. the guest house itself was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a pleasant environment for a brief stopover.
One minor inconvenience that I encountered during my stay at Guest House Memushi was the navigation. While the family who owns the guest house provided clear direction information, I found that relying solely on navigation systems can easily confuse travelers.

The family running the guesthouse is incredibly friendly and helpful. The terrace offers stunning views of the old town and the valley. The homemade food is delicious. The location is ideal, close to the Bazaar but away from the noise. The teenage nephew who manages the guesthouse is extremely helpful and speaks excellent English.
Everything was spot on.

The hospitality at this place was top-notch! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. They even arranged a last-minute dinner for us, which we enjoyed on the terrace with a breathtaking view. Secondly, the location of the hotel was ideal. Situated in the old town, it was within walking distance to the bustling bazaar area and Gjirokaster Castle. Lastly, the breakfast served on the terrace was delicious and had a wide variety of options. We especially loved the homemade jam they gave us as a parting gift.
One drawback was that the apartment was a bit difficult to find using navigation and reaching by car. However, the detailed instructions provided in advance made it easier to locate.
